Simone and Jitesh had an amazing proposal event at Simones' parents' lovely home in Mount Edgecombe. Before the proposal started, we headed to Chris Saunders Park in Umhlanga near Gateway to take some couple portraits of the two, and thanks to some planning and some luck, we got to shoot in some incredible light.
Sandhia & Rishav got engaged at the beginning of 2015, but with their busy schedules didn't have a proper engagement shoot. Sandhia got in contact with me in December and we planned a January shoot. They both have a special place in their hearts for Wilson's Wharf in Durban, as they had their first date there
Definitely one of the most eventful shoots of my career! MacWalter planned to come down to Durban from Johannesburg and propose to Lucia on a lovely Friday afternoon. After we had a chat, I kept an eye on the erratic weather, which kept changing every few minutes. After walking passed me and giving me the signal, the heavens opened up over La Lucia and we all had to run as fast as we could! My camera looked like it had been dunked in the ocean, and we weren't looking much better.
Divian and Ramolla's proposal was a sweet intimate affair, the two of them spending the evening at Coastlands on the Ridge. The entire set-up was put together beautifully by DialAPicnic, specialists in these kinds of proposals.
At 12:02PM on Monday, 12th May 2014, Joe Nagle of Chicago, Illinois proposed to Karin deWet of Pretoria. I know the time because I was crouched in the bushes of the lawn on the Oyster Box for this Umhlanga engagement, waiting for Joe to pop the question.
