Amorello Safari Park is a magical place in Hluhlwe. Elegant yet rustic at the same time, I knew I was in for a treat even before I got there. Alecia and her now-husband DeWet work at the resort, and it's a testament to the place that you can tell how much they love the place, the owners and the other employees.
The couple got married on a spring Friday in the near-wilderness, with just a smattering of close friends and family. The intimate ceremony was followed by an emotional reception, with tears never far away. Once party time set in, however, Alecia especially was all over the dance floor.. I don't think there was anyone there she didn't have at least one dance with. From a photographic point of view, the place was a masterpiece, and such a breath of fresh air - in more ways than one.
